All scholarships SV learns of are added to the Scholarship Search on Naviance.  Students should monitor this list throughout their junior and senior years. 

Approximately 30 local organizations offer scholarships to Seneca Valley seniors.  The application becomes available in February and is shared with all seniors.  There are scholarships available for any student pursuing post-secondary education including community college, technical school, and four-year colleges. 

SV senior only scholarship available in late January.  This is our largest single scholarship program awarding approximately 13 seniors a portion of the $60,000 available each year.  Eligibility includes community service and a strong academic record.  The application requires that students provide the EFC number generated on their Student Aid Report (SAR) once their FAFSA account is processed.  Additional information regarding the FAFSA is available on the main page of this financial aid presentation. 

These scholarships are offered by individual schools.  In most cases students are automatically considered for these scholarships simply by applying for admission.  However, students should investigate opportunities for scholarships at each school they apply to and complete any additional applications necessary.

 Students can complete a profile on a national scholarship search website to learn about additional scholarships they may qualify for. This is highly recommended for all students and should be continued throughout their college experience.  One very popular site is www.fastweb.com.
